Over dinner, a young couple shared with Kathy and I about being raised in a religious cult. The leadership of this cult had control over all aspects of their lives.
The congregation was not allowed to view TV or movies. Their schooling, marriages and jobs were managed or monitored as well. This couple’s God-given talents were stifled.
There are also businesses that are highly centralized and controlled, underutilizing the talents and gifts of the many.
1 Corinthians 12:18 teaches, “But in fact God has placed the parts in the body, every one of them, just as he wanted them to be.”
We each have God-given talents that can enhance a business if allowed. If your business is too controlling, release control, allowing your associates and organization the freedom to soar.
