Listen to the latest 60 second episode of Integrity Moments with Rick Boxx
Are you able to allow someone else to make a decision? Or do you give the responsibility for a decision to someone else only to take it back?
Taking back previously given responsibility compromises your leadership and undermines your staff.
Jeremiah 8:4 says. “Thus says the Lord: When men fall, do they not rise again? If one turns away, does he not return?”
God let the Israelites fail, yet He continually supported, advised and warned them. When you give someone the responsibility to make a decision, the decision becomes theirs to make, good or bad.
We have all heard the adage that failure is part of success.
Once given, do not take back the decision-making responsibility to protect your employees from failure. Where else will they learn success?
