Our ministry was considering developing a new service. This led to a conversation about what differentiates our proposed service from other similar services.
The question is, “If others are already fulfilling the customer’s needs, why should someone buy our product? What sets us apart?”
God gave us a good example when He set apart the Israelites from other nations. The Israelites became distinct by who and how they worshipped, their moral code, and their dietary restrictions.
Leviticus 20:26 says, “You are to be holy to me because I, the Lord, am holy, and I have set you apart from the nations to be my own.”
When developing a new product ask yourself, “Is this product really needed?” If so, what are three ways your product is different from others?
