Born in Bethlehem, the first announcement of Jesus’ birth was to the shepherds while tending sheep. When the shepherds saw baby Jesus, and what the angels had said proved to be true, they couldn’t keep the news to themselves.
The shepherds became ambassadors for baby Jesus. These shepherds had influence in their community and used it to spread the important word that God had sent a savior through baby Jesus.
Luke 2:17 says about the shepherds, “When they had seen Him, they made known the statement which had been told them about this Child.”
God has given you and I influence, including and not exclusively through our workplaces. Let’s bring glory to that same Child that became the Savior of the world by sharing the Good News of Jesus’ birth.
