Recently, Kathy and I returned from our 30th anniversary vacation refreshed and excited to jump back into the exciting new projects at the ministry. But then the troubles began!

My email system crashed and several urgent matters stole time away from important projects. The distractions became overwhelming!

In John 16, after the euphoria of Jesus raising Lazarus from the dead, Jesus warns his disciples of his death, and the trouble they were about to face. But He encouraged them when He said,

“I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”

During troubled times, it’s easy to become full of anxiety, but Jesus has a better response. Walk in peace.
