Listen to the latest 60 second episode of Integrity Moments with Rick Boxx
At 24 years old, Liz Wiseman, was asked by the leadership of the software giant, Oracle, to develop Oracle University from scratch. To a fairly recent college graduate with very little corporate experience this seemed foolish.
As Liz later reflected on her amazing journey of building a corporate university she discovered four principles that can help others overcome what she calls the “Knowledge Trap.”
Liz believes that many people limit their success due to their past experiences or knowledge. Because they already have some knowledge about the work they are beginning, they oftentimes don’t pursue the wisdom of others.
1 Corinthians 8:1 teaches, “We know that “We all possess knowledge.” But knowledge puffs up while love builds up.”
Join me this week as we explore Liz Wiseman’s four thoughts on avoiding the Knowledge Trap.
