Listen to the latest 60 second episode of Integrity Moments with Rick Boxx
In the mid-1990s, I was building a new consulting business. I learned many lessons leading up to the Dot-com bubble that may help you if there’s a future Artificial Intelligence bubble.
The first lesson I learned was to “Beware of Posers.” In the 1990s, it didn’t take long before almost everyone in the technology world claimed to be an internet expert.
Opportunists realized that if they could claim expertise, they were more likely to secure jobs or business contracts. Lots of money was spent on people who claimed expertise, but had none.
Psalm 120:2 says, “Deliver me, O Lord, from lying lips, from a deceitful tongue.”
When hiring contractors who claim to be AI experts, don’t take their word for it. Seek wise counsel and check their references carefully.
