One reason I subscribe to Harvard Business Review is because of their thorough research. It’s amazing how frequently their research can swerve into the truth, even when they don’t give credit to where truth comes from. Let me explain.

A recent cover story in the Harvard Business Review was titled, “When Work Has Meaning.” The author’s research led to the conclusion that companies with a solid purpose for their work, other than economic, tend to outperform other similar companies.

Harvard Business Review never discussed the source of that purpose, the Bible does.

Proverbs 19:21 teaches, “Many are the plans in a person’s heart, but it is the Lord’s purpose that prevails.”

We each have a purpose for life, which includes our vocation. Assure your plans line up with God’s purpose.
