Kathy and I returned from a beautiful morning on the beach. The sun was shining, the wind was gentle, and the day looked like it would bring more of the same.

Then we received the call. We were told that Hurricane Helene was headed in our direction and that we needed to evacuate the island.

The situation seemed surreal. The weather was beautiful outside, and no storm was in sight, yet we packed our bags and moved.

Forty-eight hours later most of that island was underwater.

Proverbs 22:3 says, “The prudent sees danger and hides himself, but the simple go on and suffer for it.”

In business, at times there are storms brewing that are unseen on the surface. The prudent set-up warning systems to be forewarned of impending danger.
