Kathy and I have had a string of unexpected challenges with our home recently. For example, a strong wind blew an entire wall of our deck down. Then our basement flooded.
We were about to build a new deck when our basement flooded again, in a different location. That led to discovering hail damage on the roof.
Suddenly we had to reconsider our priorities. The roof became a higher priority.
Romans 12:2 says, “Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is.”
In business, there are occasions when challenges require us to rethink our priorities. Those are opportunities to pause, seek wisdom, and pray for God’s priorities.
