A recent article penned by Mary Key from the Institute of Corporate Productivity states, “Significance thinking involves asking oneself, ‘What is the impact of the gift I want to leave behind?’ This is what can be called legacy.”
Significance is realized by the legacy and impact of one’s leadership that will be left behind. Lasting meaning comes when generations to come speak of the works of previous generations.
A legacy that teaches, leads, instructs, guides and disciples generations adds lasting value for decades to come.
Psalm 145:4 says, “One generation shall commend your works to another, and shall declare your mighty acts.”
Thousands of generations after King David’s death, his life stories and legacy still reflect a life of significance. What will be said about your legacy?
