Recently, our church taught a series on God in the Storms. Our pastor mentioned that there are times when storms can be God’s way to teach us something significant.
But sometimes we don’t learn the lesson the first time. If you’re like me, sometimes I don’t learn the second or third time either.
When God keeps sending the same kind of storm, He’s hoping that eventually I learn the intended lesson. In business, that might mean you continue to experience cash flow issues or hiring struggles.
Proverbs 26:11 teaches, “Like a dog that returns to his vomit is a fool who repeats his folly.”
If you find yourself experiencing the same struggles in business, pause and ask God what He’s trying to teach you. Then, do it right next time.
