There are certain chapters in the Bible that seem to overflow with pearls of wisdom. For wise business counsel, I find great treasures in Psalm 37.

As a young man, I was frequently around a mechanic who had a quick temper. He had very little patience for people questioning his work.

This resulted in angry responses at times that did not serve him well. One car dealer fired this mechanic for throwing a hammer towards a customer’s head during a fit of rage!

Psalm 37:8 teaches, “Refrain from anger, and forsake wrath! Fret not yourself; it tends only to evil. For the evildoers shall be cut off.”

As an employer, be wary of prospective employees who have a history of anger issues. Researching reasons for their previous terminations may help.
