Different people handle change differently. Due to our son, Jeremy’s, autism and obsessive-compulsive disorder, we have learned to warn him, as far in advance as possible, of coming changes.
In your workplace, you will also have people who struggle with change more than others.
God prepared people for Jesus’ coming by sending John the Baptist with a warning of changes to come. In Matthew 11:10, Jesus, referring to John, said, “This is the one about whom it is written: ‘I will send my messenger ahead of you, who will prepare your way before you.’”
2020 has been a year of dramatic change. As a leader, you can help your team by preparing them as far in advance as possible of any additional changes and to lead them through the unknowns.
