But what scripture consistently reveals is that repentance precedes revival. Unfortunately, when I examine what repentance looks like in the Bible and contrast it to our current culture’s approach to sin, I see a huge gap.
Repentance has many more steps and complexity than just saying you are sorry, but the fruit of repentance is eternal in nature.
In Luke 15:10, Jesus said, “I tell you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents.”
