Most corporations work together with several layers of the organization to develop “core values”. Core values are the intrinsic beliefs that drive decision making for the company.
Families can take the core values a step deeper by applying them to the family as well as in business. Many of the parables that Christ used to teach us are infused with core values of being a Christ follower.
Matthew 7:12 says, “So whatever you wish that others would do to you, do also to them, for this is the Law and the Prophets.”
Jesus through his parables and teachings gives us reference points indicating the path of true north. When in doubt, remember north is always up and get realigned to the foundational truths of Biblical core values.
