Listen to the latest 60 second episode of Integrity Moments with Rick Boxx

The Biblical story of Nehemiah is a powerful reminder that our integrity affects our testimony.
As the Old Testament civic leader was working to rally people to rebuild the wall around Jerusalem, opponents continually tried to derail his efforts. A man named Shemaiah tried to convinced Nehemiah to hide in the temple for Nehemiah’s own safety. But God’s word forbade any but the priests to enter the temple. Nehemiah knew that such an action would have been detrimental to his ministry.
“He had been hired to intimidate me so that I would commit a sin by doing this, and then they would give me a bad name to discredit me.” (Nehemiah 6:13)
Recognize that your testimony is impacted by how you demonstrate integrity in your work.
