Gallup’s new book, “It’s the Manager,” uncovers several findings that point to the importance of hiring the right managers. A key factor is their ability to inspire their team to be more engaged.
Gallup’s research discovered that roughly a third of employees in the U.S. are highly engaged. However, in successful businesses, engagement can reach as high as 68%.
This is important because their research also discovered that the top 10% of companies, ranked by engagement, posted profit gains of 26% through the last recession while their peers had a 14% decline.
In Exodus 18:21 we read, “But select capable men from all the people—men who fear God, trustworthy men who hate dishonest gain.”
May you become and discover leaders who inspire your team to new heights.
