Recently, I’ve been following a messy situation locally that involves an international ministry leader. If the allegations prove true, this leader has been involved sexually with underage young ladies on and off for over forty years.
The fact that these multiple offenses are just now surfacing begs the question, “How long can sin hide?” Falling into sin usually leads to shame. Then Satan uses shame to convince us to sin again, and again, since we’re already damaged goods.
James 5:16 says, “Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed.”
Business leaders are also susceptible to sin. If you’ve sinned, repent and go immediately to someone you trust and confess. Otherwise, you’ll continue to grieve God and hurt innocent people.
