The Christian Post recently interviewed actor, Kirk Cameron, about a new documentary called "Quiet on Set: The Dark Side of Kids TV." The documentary highlights Brian Peck, Cameron's dialogue coach from when Cameron was a child actor on "Growing Pains."
Peck was later convicted as a sexual offender and pedophile. Cameron claimed he was fortunate that his parents had discretion and wisdom. His mother never allowed Cameron to be on set without her being present.
Proverbs 2:11 says, "Discretion will watch over you, understanding will guard you. To rescue you from the way of evil, from a person who speaks perverse things."
God gives to His people discretion and understanding, but we must listen for God's direction and respond obediently.
