A recent Gallup report continued to show how stress at work is impacting U.S workers. More workers (49 percent) said they are struggling in their lives than those who say they are thriving (46 percent). The results reflect a new low over the past three years.
Modern work can be stressful and anxiety-producing. We amplify that pain when we assume a distorted relationship to our work, making it the source of our identity. When our identity is grounded in our relationship with God, we see our work in perspective, as an opportunity for service, connection, and worship.
