Last year, some friends of mine made a bold move. They previously tithed 10% of their company net profits to charity, but God stirred their hearts to increase giving to 10% of their gross revenue.
Like many steps of faith, God will test your commitment. After my friends made their pledge to change their giving, they lost their biggest account!
But they remained faithful to their commitment. By year end, God not only replaced the big account they lost, but He also provided new business that resulted in their company having their most profitable year ever!
Proverbs 3:9 teaches, "Honor the Lord with your wealth, with the firstfruits of all your crops; then your barns will be filled to overflowing."
God's ways may be unconventional, but God remains faithful!
