Listen to the latest 60 second episode of Integrity Moments with Rick Boxx
Integrity Moments is a 60 second workday devotional that provides business leaders with helpful insight into what the Bible says about our work and how we can fully integrate our faith into our vocational calling.

In the movie, “The Founder,” Ray Kroc began selling franchises to his wealthy country club friends. He quickly discovered that their restaurants were dirty and weren’t following the company guidelines.

As passive investors, these franchisees had divided interests and didn’t see the importance of staying focused on the guidelines spelled out by the McDonald brothers.

Ray Kroc quickly pivoted to a different, more successful, strategy. He hired owner operators who learned the business personally and agreed to work at the business daily.

Jesus taught in Matthew 6:24, “No one can serve two masters. Either you will hate the one and love the other, or you will be devoted to the one and despise the other.”

In business, keep alert for those who have divided interests. It can become costly.
