With significant worker shortages throughout the country, many employees are being asked to work double shifts and are now showing signs of exhaustion. Bojangles Famous Chicken restaurants decided to make a bold move to do something about their employee’s exhaustion.
Bojangles closed all company owned stores on two different Mondays and made those paid days of rest for their staff! This cost the company a significant amount of money, but they decided to prioritize care for their exhausted team.
1 Peter 5:2 instructs leaders, “Be shepherds of God’s flock that is under your care, watching over them—not because you must, but because you are willing, as God wants you to be.”
If you’re seeing signs of exhaustion in your team, consider creative ways to care for your staff.
