Many people act differently in their personal life as compared to their professional life. Many of these compartmentalizers leave their faith behind when they show up for work.
A new study has identified another form of compartmentalization.
Rutgers Business School performed a study that discovered that people who were using their laptops were more prone to lie to others than those using their cellphones.
These people mentally connected their laptops to their professional life while their cellphones were for personal use. They were more apt to tell lies at work than they were personally.
Proverbs 19:5 teaches, “A false witness will not go unpunished, and he who breathes out lies will not escape.”
God cares about your professional life and your personal life. Lying has a bad result either way.
