Poor communication is a big challenge for small businesses. Recently, Kathy and I met with a team of our son's caregivers.
We were shocked to learn that Jeremy had experienced multiple incidents of anger, resulting in destroyed property and harm to others. Jeremy's team assumed we knew of these incidents.
We discovered that we'd not been included in the communication loop of incident reports. For years, we had been making decisions based on faulty and poor communication.
Ephesians 4:29 teaches, "Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen."
When communicating important matters, be sure to include everyone who needs to know. It's better to overcommunicate than not.
