A recent article from Multichannel Merchant suggests four steps to foster effective teamwork during difficult times. First, establish safety and credibility for all team members.

Second, put everything on the table. Third, align around the goals and processes. And fourth, evaluate the results of the team and make changes as needed.

It’s important to recognize during challenging times, everyone on the team comes with fears. Collaboration can help mitigate fears as the team leans on one another for support and shared understanding.

1 Peter 4:12 says, “Dear friends, do not be surprised at the fiery ordeal that has come on you to test you, as though something strange were happening to you.”

Hard times are inevitable. Approaching hard times with collaboration provides the opportunity for support, help and solutions.
