When we learn of something said about us personally, it can cut us to the core, but it’s easy to excuse it when we speak of someone else.
In Matthew 12, Jesus told His disciples, “For every careless word that people speak, they will give an account of it on the day of judgment. For by your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned.”
Carefully consider the words you speak today. They can result in regrettable consequences or bring great encouragement!
