As I pulled-up to the store to return a laptop, I witnessed a line nearly a block long. I started to drive away, but then decided to ask the lady at the door if I could simply return a product.
She informed me that I was free to bypass the line. I’m typically a rule-oriented person, but my wife, Kathy, has taught me over the years how gracious people can be if you just ask.
Jesus said in Matthew 7:7, “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.”
There are reasons we need to comply with rules, but there are also times for being bold and asking for an exemption. You might just receive your request.
