This puts many CPA firms at risk of their product becoming a commodity. If all the client expects is a finished audit report, they can always find someone to do it cheaper.
Long term success, however, will go to those firms who provide added value through wisdom and knowledge, whether that be provided remotely or in person.
Proverbs 16:16 says, “How much better to get wisdom than gold, to get insight rather than silver!”
You may be able to provide your client an efficient product remotely, but wisdom and knowledge will add value longer term.
