Listen to the latest 60 second episode of Integrity Moments with Rick Boxx
An article by the Small Business Chronicles states, “A firm, strong handshake transmits your underlying confidence in yourself and your abilities.” Simply stated, a handshake delivers information about whether the client or stranger should put his or her trust in you or in your abilities.
Zechariah 8:16-17 says, “Speak the truth to one another; render in your gates judgments that are true and make for peace; do not devise evil in your hearts against one another, and love no false oath, for all these things I hate, declares the Lord.”
A good grip extended in a handshake provides an opportunity for a relationship established on trust to begin. Speaking truth follows the handshake, it doesn’t come before. A handshake also establishes the building of peace. Does your handshake emit trustworthiness?
