At 6 am, I received a robo call from AT&T. At first, I was angry about the early call, but then I remembered that I had previously asked God to help me spend more time with Him.
Although my plan had been to get up at 6:30 that morning, I realized this was a perfect opportunity to go for a prayer walk instead.
Psalm 4:1 says, “Answer me when I call, God of my righteousness! You have relieved me in my distress; Be gracious to me and hear my prayer.”
Over the years I’ve discovered that God often answers my prayers in unexpected and sometimes unwanted ways. But if I ask for God’s help, I need to be grateful for God’s answer, even if it’s not my preferred response.
