When we host events, there are so many moving parts that inevitably we know there will be problems that surface the day of the event. That’s why when the event is over, it can be challenging for us to spend much time dwelling on the successes.
Instead, we tend to dwell on our mistakes. Personally, I would like to do better listing and celebrating those things for which I should be thankful!
Philippians 4:8 teaches, “Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things.”
There is a time to address problems, but also a time to celebrate those things for which you should be thankful as well.
