Listen to the latest 60 second episode of Integrity Moments with Rick Boxx
A Mueller report finding was about the courage or disobedience, depending upon your viewpoint, of White House attorney, Don McGahn. Reportedly, McGahn claimed that the President called him at home, demanding he start the process of firing Mueller.
Supposedly, McGahn believed this was improper and possibly illegal, so he refused.
It takes courage to tell any boss “No,” but imagine refusing an order from the President of the United States! Note, however, that some believe McGahn’s refusal cost him his job, but may have saved the President from obstruction of justice charges.
Proverbs 28:6 says, “Better is the poor who walks in his integrity than he who is crooked though he be rich.”
Trying to maintain your own integrity can come at great cost and be questioned by others.
