Sometimes God needs to slow you down so you don’t miss the important lessons He has for you. Covid-19 has changed our world and for many of us, changed our schedules. Through it all, was God able to build into you what you will need for a post-Covid-19 world?
Richard has a Master’s of Divinity degree and a Ph.D. in church history from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, and an honorary doctorate from Dallas Baptist University. He has served as a senior pastor, and as president of the Canadian Southern Baptist Seminary in Cochran, Alberta Canada for 13 years. He continues to serve as the seminary’s Chancellor today, when he is not at the helm as president of Blackaby Ministries International.
Richard is perhaps best known for the book he co-authored with his father, Henry: Experiencing God: Revised Edition. The book sprang from experiences Henry and Marilynn Blackaby, along with their five children, experienced serving in, and planting, churches in Saskatchewan, Canada.
To date, Richard has co-authored or authored thirty-three books including Spiritual Leadership: Moving People on to God’s Agenda, God in the Marketplace, and Experiencing God: Day by Day.
Richard Blackaby has his wife, Lisa, have been married since 1983. They have three adult children and six grandchildren. The couple live in Jonesboro, Georgia.
