Director of Administration
Unconventional Business Network is looking for an experienced leader who can direct our operations and event planning activities. The mission of UBN is to glorify God by helping business leaders learn, model, and teach Biblical principles in their workplace. This will be a full-time role. You will be responsible for managing the administrative tasks that need to be completed to lead our Operations and Event planning activities, including project management, data entry, data and list management, event planning, and financial reporting duties. Additionally, you will be responsible for basic hardware and software support. Reports to Chief of Staff.
We are looking for someone passionate about integrating Biblical truths and faith into the marketplace and living our core values of Biblical, Ethical, Business-minded, Open to God-sized possibilities, Loving Others and Driven by a higher purpose. We are looking for a servant leader.
Responsibilities:
- Data input into our CRM and in QuickBooks
- All bookkeeping functions, including vendor management
- Event planning through outsourced vendors
- Project management support assuring duties are assigned and updated
- Office management, including supply ordering
- Scheduling appointments and Zoom meetings
- Manage and process book orders
- Support UBN employees’ computer hardware and software needs
- Onboarding new employees
- Handling of all incoming calls
Technology Skills:
- Microsoft Office 365, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook, and Adobe
- Asana Project Management
- CRM and QuickBooks usage (we will train the right person)
- Zoom and Teams video conferencing
- Computer hardware and software installation and support
- Familiarity with ProPresenter
Requirements:
- Alignment with UBN’s values and statement of faith
- Leadership abilities
- Detail oriented
- Bookkeeping and financial aptitude
- Advanced Excel expertise a plus
- Familiar with Project Management software like Asana a plus
- Familiar with computer hardware and software set up and support
- Outgoing personality
- Comfortable with phone and face to face communication
Volunteer Opportunities:
Workflow Optimization – we are looking for someone who can review our customer journey processes, identifying the gaps and inefficiencies, and helping design and automate workflows that allows customers to be better served and staff to be more efficient. Bookkeeping assistance – we need someone familiar with Quickbooks who can enter deposits, accounts payable, invoice clients, and reconcile bank accounts. Estimated 5-10 hours a week. Email [email protected] for more information.
Forum Leaders – we are looking for volunteer group facilitators to lead our monthly Forum meetings. These meetings have a great impact on the lives of business leaders. Typically, over a breakfast or lunch time in a local conference room, these meetings provide video training, discussion time, and networking to help business leaders better integrate their faith and the Bible into their work.
