Terry had a $30,000 windfall and was hoping to dig and fill a couple of ponds on his property. But, at the same time, he unexpectedly was asked to fund a $30,000 ministry project.
God prompted Terry to give the $30,000 towards the ministry project, instead of digging the ponds. Soon thereafter, the property adjacent to his was purchased for a commercial project who needed dirt.
Instead of Terry paying someone to dig the ponds, the excavator paid Terry to dig his ponds.
Proverbs 3 teaches, “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight.”
