Jim was certain God had given him a dream for a new business, yet he had no money or business plan. Jim wanted to start immediately, so he assumed he would borrow money and work out the plan later.
Many entrepreneurs overlook the possibility that God may give an idea for a business today so that you can begin preparing.
In Genesis 37, Joseph had a dream about his future power, he told his brothers, “Lo, I have had still another dream; and behold, the sun and the moon and eleven stars were bowing down to me.” What Joseph didn’t know was how long God needed to prepare him for his dream.
If God is leading you towards starting a business, be sure you’ve prepared fully before getting ahead of God.
