Many churches will be celebrating Maundy Thursday today, in commemoration of Jesus and the disciples sharing His last supper together. Maundy Thursday could also be considered the launching point for the entire servant leadership movement.
On that day Jesus humbly served each of His disciples by washing their dirty feet. By taking on the one task, that many leaders of that day would have considered the most humiliating, Jesus modeled His own mandate to serve and love others.
In John 13:34, while Jesus was washing the feet of the disciples he said, “A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another, even as I have loved you, that you also love one another.”
If Jesus the Messiah humbly served others, how might you show your love today in your workplace?
