The executive erupted as the employee described the team’s mistake. The executive didn’t want to hear about what led to the mistake or how the team was working to mitigate the problem. He wanted the offending employee to feel his anger and the consequences of the error.
How do you react when a team member admits an honest mistake?
Paul wrote to the church at Corinth: “As God’s co-workers we urge you not to receive God’s grace in vain.” (2 Corinthians 6:1). Paul admonished believers to recognize how their actions should reflect their position as God’s co-laborers.
As leaders following Jesus, we are called to show others the same grace we have received. Consider how your reaction to others instructs them and helps grow their faith.
