It grieves me when someone tells me they refuse to do business with Christians because of past disappointments. I also have been disappointed by Christian business leaders, but likewise non-Christians have disappointed me as well.
As followers of Jesus, we tend to have higher expectations of someone claiming to be a Christian. But refusing to do business with all Christians is not the answer.
James 3:2 reminds us, “We all stumble in many ways. Anyone who is never at fault in what they say is perfect, able to keep their whole body in check.”
I think President Regan had a valuable approach when he claimed we should trust but verify. Seeking testimonials and researching online reviews are just a couple of ways you can still give Christians a chance.
