Listen to the latest 60 second episode of Integrity Moments with Rick Boxx

Aaron measured his career progress by the results of his annual reviews. His hard work throughout the year all felt worth it when he read what his boss wrote in the year-end assessment. Aaron treasured the feedback from his boss, both for the praise he would receive, but also because that praise generally translated to more responsibility and more income.
But Aaron’s focus on human attention is not God’s desire for our focus. John 5:44 says, “How can you believe since you accept glory from one another but do not seek the glory that comes from the only God?”
Consider what feedback guides your career. Are you seeking the glory from your leader, your colleagues, or from the God who created you and defines your purpose?
