One of the many gifts that God has given us is the ability to remember. In the business world, remembering our career wins and the losses gives us wisdom and discernment. Remembering past experiences gives us insight into navigating future challenges.
But perhaps the greatest value of remembering comes when we remember where we are in God. Remembering our calling from God gives us confidence in the work we’re doing and the mission we’re advancing.
The Psalmist wrote: “Look to the Lord and his strength; seek his face always. Remember the wonders he has done, his miracles, and the judgments he pronounced.” (Psalm 105:4-5)
As you face the challenges and opportunities of work today, remember God’s instructions, direction, and wisdom, and take confidence in his plans for you.
