In the latest American Bible Society “State of the Bible” report, we learn that Bible engagement continues to decline. In the decade before the pandemic, roughly 50% of adults used the Bible at least three or four times a year.
But since then, Bible use has slid to 38%. There is hope, however.
American Bible Society discovered that those they call the Movable Middle are growing. These men and women are open to learning about the Bible.
In Acts 8, Philip observed an Ethiopian open to studying Scripture. In verse 35, we read, “Philip proceeded to tell him the good news about Jesus, beginning with that Scripture.”
In your workplace, be mindful that many may not be familiar with the Bible, but some may be open to learning.
