Listen to the latest 60 second episode of Integrity Moments with Rick Boxx
Have you ever wondered why sometimes your career or business is prosperous, while other times, you may struggle to survive? Recently, in my Bible study, I came across a verse that gave me a fresh perspective on the roller coaster ride of life.
King Solomon, the most prosperous man on earth, wrote in Ecclesiastes 7:14, “In the day of prosperity be joyful, but in the day of adversity, consider: God has made the one as well as the other, so that no one can discover anything that will come after him.”
God allows adversity and prosperity so that no one can discover what’s next. Because we don’t know what God is going to send tomorrow, God desires us to plan, but primarily live in the moment, trusting solely in Him.
