During a challenging week, Jason felt called to attend a mid-day service at a church near his work. He was surprised because the church was a different denomination than the one he regularly attended.
Nevertheless, one noon he walked into the sanctuary, took a seat, and just let himself “be” in the midst of the worship. Although the service was unfamiliar, he still felt refreshed and restored by inserting worship into his workday.
Jesus told the disciples he was sending them a Helper. In John 14:16 He said, “And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another advocate to help you and be with you forever – the Spirit of truth.”
