Alicia experienced “one of those weeks.” The project she was leading missed a key deadline. A coworker announced he was leaving.
At home, a sick child and broken washing machine added to the challenges. The final straw was when another driver hit her car while she waited at a stoplight. The insurance company declared her car “totaled.”
Isaiah 54:10 says, “‘Though the mountains be shaken and the hills be removed, yet my unfailing love for you will not be shaken nor my covenant of peace be removed,’ says the Lord, who has compassion on you.”
Even when the weeks are looking lost, God assures us he can redeem every day. Holding on to that promise can get us through those hard times at work as well as at home.
