Listen to the latest 60 second episode of Integrity Moments with Rick Boxx
In this series, we’re discussing ways that business can shape our faith. When I first started Unconventional Business Network, I wanted to start with a clean slate.
Through prayer and fasting, God convicted me that I needed to pay a former business partner monies he believed he was owed. In my 20s, a business partner of mine lost money on a business venture I had started.
Although I handled it legally, my partner felt wronged. From a business viewpoint, paying him back didn’t make sense. But I obeyed and reconciled our relationship.
Proverbs 21:3 says, “To do what is right and just is more acceptable to the Lord than sacrifice.”
God used my situation to give me a different view on integrity than what business school had taught me.
