One of our pastors shared that he previously had an acquaintance who owned a python, and even let it sleep in his bed.
The snake started acting strange. It quit eating and it would stretch its body out to its full length next to him. Unsettled, this young man asked his vet what might be wrong.
He was shocked when the vet told him, “Before a large meal, pythons stop eating and then stretch themselves out next to their prey to size them up.”
God said in Genesis 4:7, “Sin is crouching at the door; and its desire is for you, but you must master it.”
This story is a great object lesson for how we must view sin. Don’t underestimate the power of sin. It can destroy your career.
