Listen to the latest 60 second episode of Integrity Moments with Rick Boxx
Integrity Moments is a 60 second workday devotional that provides business leaders with helpful insight into what the Bible says about our work and how we can fully integrate our faith into our vocational calling.

An article by the JB Griffin Group states, “Having a cell phone use policy could help people understand what’s expected of them, but a no-tolerance policy will likely feel punitive and overbearing.” The article highlights the importance of striking a balance between setting expectations, having an awareness of business risks and understanding the employee’s perspective.

These three legs of the stool for effective policies can be helpful in developing a policy for cell phone use during work hours. But also, they can guide policies and procedures throughout the company.

2 Peter 3:17 says, “take care that you are not carried away with the error of lawless people and lose your own stability.”

The Bible supports the notion that policies and procedures are the gatekeepers of stability for the company.
